The Telling Stories tour began in March 2000 and lasted 5 months: it began by the United States. Then the band visited Europe (including an appeareance at the Pavarotti and Friends concert). The U.S had been granted with an encore summer tour, Tracy Chapman first opened for Sting on 12 dates then the band carried on on their side for 2 other last months.
